This full-time role is based in Mansfield, Ohio (preferred) working closely with and reporting to the Aftermarket Manager.Â
We are looking for a well-qualified Field Service Technician who will provide travel to customer’s site and perform services.Â
Responsibilities
- Work safely and ethically alone and as part of a teamÂ
- Closely adhere to all safety and security standards and procedures 
- Provide world-class customer service and continuous facing skills Â
When not traveling:Â
- Report to Mansfield, OH facility (preferably)Â
- Provide technical support to customers (phone, virtual, in person when needed)Â
- Perform work in various other departments, including but not limited to, Test Floor, Punch Press, Repair Shop, Marketing
- Prepare/organize tripsÂ
- Pull documentationÂ
- Arrange travelÂ
- Complete any customer-required training/testing prior to travelÂ
- Plan servicesÂ
- Complete documentation/reportsÂ
- Expense reporting
When Traveling:Â
- Install and commission equipment
- Complete any customer-required training/testing prior to travel
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Provide on-site technical and engineering assistance pertinent to the proper installation, operation, and maintenance
- Assume responsibility for any and all issued, loaned, and/or leased tools and equipment required for the job
- Provide training (on-site, in house or virtual)
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or certified equivalent, and/or education obtained through a tech school, college, or related courses.Â
- Military experience is a plusÂ
- Five to ten years working in a related field with practical experience operating large rotating electrical, high voltage, electronic and mechanical equipmentÂ
- Experienced working with customers and vendors in a B2B environment
- A team player with excellent communication skillsÂ
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- Great attention to detail and time-management skills
- Technical literacy with proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite, project management and ERP systems
Working Conditions and Work Hours
- Daily 8-12 hours. Weekly 40-80 hours. Overtime as required, subject to customer site schedules and may vary based upon the specific needs of individual assignments. May be exposed to extreme temperatures and confined spaces
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and occasional weekends, holidays, and nights
- Must be able to travel extensively throughout the United States and abroad

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport and US-issued driver license.  Â
- Must maintain a driving record that is acceptable for coverage under the company’s insurance plan.Â
